[freespace2] mve player; archives?

Hey Brad, welcome to both i.o and the list.

I noticed some mention of subtitles for MVE files, does anyone have more
information about this?  I'm wondering if freespace 2 has them.  I
didn't see any information about this in the mve-fmt file, is it
something that has yet to be reverse engineered?

Also, has anyone seen any comment from Interplay on this newly
discovered player?
