[freespace2] Freespace 1 -- IT LIVES!

Unfortunately it's going to be a couple of weeks before I can spend more
time on this but if somebody wants to pick it up in the meantime I'll
post the patch somewhere so people can get it. I haven't tried to build
FS2 from this code yet but I don't see any reason it wouldn't.

As for the resolution thing, FS1 only did 640x480. I tried to set the
FS1 build to have only one resolution but the matrix (if that's the
word) of layout elements contains both 640x480 and 1024x768 versions so
the second resolution would have the ifdefd for each matrix. I'm
learning as I go though so I may not have changed the right thing.

I've got the HUD config mostly working. Everything is positioned and I
have the RGB sliders taken off but clicking on some of the individual
hud elements to configure will cause a crash and changing the color and
brightness doesn't have any effect. I haven't looked into it yet but it
doesn't seem to be anything big. Aside from that the work I did this
weekend got pretty much everything working. I haven't put back the
mission disk stuff to get Silent Threat to load right but it's just a
matter of finding the time. I've played about 8-9 levels a few times
now without crashing. The main problems are that the in game hud
doesn't have the reticle shown right but I think that's my fault and
asteroids don't show up in the game yet but I think that's just a
problem parsing the asteroid table. Other little things are that some
of the menus and popup's buttons aren't positioned correctly but they do
work and the wrong icons are shown in the mission briefing. Also the
medals screen doesn't have everything positioned right but I have an XCF
I created in the Gimp that has everything ready to just put in the
numbers for each medal.

Overall it's working pretty well. Most of the FS1 code was left in so
it was just a matter of sorting out what was what and getting the right
code in the right places.
