Another FS1 Status Update

Got the last crash bug that I new about fixed. HudConfig now works all
except for the brightness slider. The slider itself works but doesn't
change the brightness. The new way is so different it's going to take
me a little while to wade through it all and figure out what I need to
hook into. All of the layout problems that I've found so far are
fixed. Asteroids still aren't working in the main campaign but do in
Silent Threat. Since they use the same models and textures the problem
is somewhere else. I'm going to look into this a little more tonight
but I will release a new patch if it still doesn't work. I'm trying to
get the FS1 demo working but might not get it finished for tonight.

It still needs a little work on a very few interface issues but is at
the point that if other people don't play with it and find problems it's
not going to get much better. So, I think it's ready for CVS, after
someone gives the patch a quick glance. I'll send the new patch to
whomever wants it and will remove the current patch from my site. The
new tables are still needed to play though so those will stay on my site
or they can be put at icculus.org somewhere until it's ready to made
into and installer.

Also in this patch I made a change to the Makefile that will append
"_demo" the the exec filename of demo builds. It may or may not be
useful. Also if the build is not for a demo then I set REAL_RELEASE
cflag which will finish things up in the build (eg. not force FPS
indicator).

I'm going to spend a little more time finalizing things and doing a
build of FS1 and FS2 with the patch to test and make a new readme file.
I'll have the patch done later tonight or early tomorrow afternoon. I
don't know how big this patch is but it's probably going to be close to
200k uncompressed.
