It took them roughly three months until the patch to 381 was out. Well, with the help of some colleague, I installed and patched it, transferred it over to my linux-box and tried to run it. This is what I get: ./devastation-bin Can't find 'intADPlayerPawnexecParseMessage' in 'DCore.dll' History: Exiting due to error This is what the log says: Log: LoadMap: Entry Log: Bound to Fire.so Log: Bound to DCore.so Log: Bound to UWindow.so Log: Bound to IpDrv.so Log: Bound to Editor.so Log: Bound to DGamePlay.so Log: Static mesh batches: 499356 vertex bytes, 57306 index bytes Log: dlerror: ./Core.so: undefined symbol: intADPlayerPawnexecParseMessage Critical: appError called: Critical: Can't find 'intADPlayerPawnexecParseMessage' in 'DCore.dll' Exit: Executing UObject::StaticShutdownAfterError Exit: Executing USDLClient::ShutdownAfterError Exit: Exiting. intADPlayerPawnexecParseMessage is nowhere to be seen in the files in System/*, so what the hell should call this? Its only in some MS-dlls. Cheers Peter -- Those who give up essential liberties for temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety. -- Benjamin Franklin
