na, they'll never go back to the dedicated platform. but activision's conference call is on Wednesday (2/10). they should talk about mw2 and what their plans are. but I'm expecting they'll be extremely light on details.<div>
<br></div><div>I fully expect them to next put the screws to the console platforms, announced or not, for the benefit of all their games. if sony & m$ wanna play in this phenom success led by mw2, they need to converge platform standards. this is a software business, not a hardware business.</div>
<div><br></div><div>This is pure speculation, but I wouldn't be surprised if ACTI was in talks with Google to create an open operating system (based on android or something), and working with another hardware manufacturer (like HTC) and they are planning on an open platform standard for gaming. microsoft is already dying a slow death from the google docs transformation, xbox is next.</div>
