I have never had success with that dumbass broadcast game server list. Not sure how it works but it sucks. I've always used the console. If it doesn't have a console I don't play that game.

The server is connectable, so maps are loaded, and I can play on it...

The servers works fine on 'dedicated 2' mode Online on the Internet, now making a local version of it and it seems not to show up whatever I do in the local list...

I'm no noob at this shit, but i remember the hlds_l servers a long time ago that they never showed up on LINUX because of UDP shit...
I know when I started a CoD4 server the server was listening on whatever port but the server wasn't initialized. Can you share you full command and the configuration it's reading from?

My first thought is that no map was selected to start the server.
Was already set, SELinux completely turned off (hate it) and no
netstat shows it's listening, but on multiple computers it's not
popping up, last lan party same thing... goddamnit!
and i see a lot of posts with the same problem (@ Google)...
That's right but you never know where to start with this little
information you've given. ;o)
Start the server with the switch +set dedicated 1 instead of
using it in the config.
Any of you guys have some ideas?
