Personally, I liked the "bifurcate the community" excuse. I guess making an xbox, PSP, and other console games doesn't "bifurcate the community." And then they "bifurcate" the community even more by making the PC game a glorified console game. I don't think they understand what "bifurcate" means.<br>

Exactly. I don't see why this can't be done via the Source engine or other means. All the weapons, game play, and such can be replicated.<br>

Valve shows a lot of support, has VAC, dedicated Linux binares, etc.<br>
