If we have to wait the new year we should have some official

Treyarch) last night (Bashandslash.com round table). When asked about
a patch he said, not sure but I would guess after the holidays as
everyone is on vacation now or soon.

We also brought up the linux bits and was told they are between Ryan
and Activision QA (ryan fixing things as Act finds bugs). if you put 1
and 1 together you can see that it may take the 1.2 patch for the linux
bits to be released. Thus after the new years.
Again take this with a grain of salt, as it's not a so called official
word but a speculative response from someone at Treyarch NOT WORKING on
the game (code wise) so to speak.

You see, that is the question. If he patched
to 1.2, then it will be delayed until after Jan 1. If he didn't then
ATVI is on vacation and the patch will not be released until they get
back.

they can delay the 1.2 path to the 2015 ... I do not care...

I'm just waiting a linux dedicated binary :|

Did ryan ported directly the 1.2 so we will have to wait till the
1.2 will be officially released? :|

There is a rumor floating around, I saw it at pbbans, that
patch 1.2 has been delayed until after Jan 1, 09. It seems
that everyone is taking vacation. I wonder if they know what
they have done.
