I´m new to this so I´m sorry if Im in the wrong forum posting this so if I am please ignore it or send me a line so I can do it right the next time.<br>
Im from sweden and I´ve just set up my first Linuxserver (Clarkconnect) I´ve installed Cod4 (copying all the files on the cd to my root/cod map, I´ve manage to upgrade Pb and I can start the server, but when I try to connect I get wrong server version from the client ?! ver1.0 but I have tried wget <a href="http://treefort.icculus.org/cod/cod4-linux-server-06282008.tar.bz2" target="_blank"></a><a href="http://treefort.icculus.org/cod/cod4-linux-server-06282008.tar.bz2" target="_blank">http://treefort.icculus.org/cod/cod4-linux-server-06282008.tar.bz2</a> (think its the 1.7patch) but still I get this error.<br>

so my question is<br>
1) do I need all the patches starting from 1.1 --> 1.2 etc ? (if so where to dl it)<br>
2) should I be in the root/cod catalog when I do this or should I put the patch in mods etc ?! <br>

<p>Anyone know if the CoD4 or PB master servers are down? I have folks that cannot connect and seem to be stuck in a download loop. Nothing has changed on either server (Atlanta and NYC).<br><br>John Kennington<br clear="all">
