<DIV>It would appear that there are some issues with the master servers at
Activision which are resulting in authorisation errors when joining servers and
timeouts.<BR><BR>BE WARNED - this can also affect your rank as some people are
reproting that when they do get to rejoin a server their rank is lower and the
number of hours played is showing as less on many stats
packages.<BR><BR>Apparently, if you do suffer this you need to :<BR><BR><I>Go to
cod4/players/profiles/your name and you will see mpdata and mpdata.corrupt,
mpdata.corrupt is the file that has your lvl 55 and stuff, delete mpdata and
rename mpdata.corrupt to just mpdata<BR><BR>dont forget to backup
first!</I><BR><BR>That is according to a post on the IW forums so I can't vouch
for it's accuracy, but just watch out for this problem.</DIV>
