Hi. <br><br>Thanks for the answers. I removed the +set net_ip and net_port from the startup. Checked with <a href="http://whatsmyip.org/ports">whatsmyip.org/ports</a> --> appears closed. Ask a buddy of mine to connect --> all works fine. Seems like <a href="http://whatsmyip.org">whatsmyip.org</a> dont detect my cod port open. <br>

Have you tried not setting the IP and port, if the box has only 1 NIC/IP then there should be no reason to state it, and if you are using the default port then there is no reason to state that as well. As far as the dedicated command goes it wouldnt matter what you set it at at the moment (1 or 2) as the switch is brioken and always runs as an internet server.<br>

I would be checking to see what the firewall on the server is doing..... You talked about portforwarding on your external dhcp/router but not what you have running on the server itself...<br>

</div><div>Hi.<br><br>Im tryin to set up a cod4 server. Had one up and runnin on fedora some weeks ago, but the mainboard chrashed so i got a new one and some more upgrades and wanted to try ubuntu. Forgot to take backup of configs and now ill have to start all over again. The problem is that i can't find it on web, but only in local area. When i use the port scan on <a href="http://whatsmyip.org/" target="_blank">whatsmyip.org</a> the port 28960 appears closed. Have tried +set net_ip both localhost, internet ip, and lan ip. Ports at the router shall be forwarded right 28960, 20800 and 20810 (i run a ventrilo server on the same pc and that one works well on the web). Tried several configs but no success. +set dedicated 2 is done i the startupcommand. Can it be the "dedicated is read only" line that makes the trouble and locks it to local?<div class="Ih2E3d">
