I know your problem. You need to have maps for main and stuff i think like in cod2 and not refer to the direct directory but to the directory before it.

On Sun, Mar 16, 2008 at 11:43 PM, Steve <stevetm001@blueyonder.co.uk> wrote:

Hi Guys..,

I Still have a problem with ftp downloads....

The router is open on port 26 and redirects to 192.168.0.100 <the server>

On the Linux console it says something like... client connecting to
ftp:blablabla... connection failed... reverting back to server....
The COD4 loading screen looks like its pointing to the correct location....
it wasn't b4 and I received an error message...

I can FTP into the user account I have created for COD4 with no problems...
although it does take about 10 seconds to actually connect

The server.cfg is as follows:--

set sv_allowdownload "1"
seta sv_wwwDownload "1"
seta sv_wwwBaseURL "ftp://<username>:<password>@82.38.162.XXX:26/cod4"
seta sv_wwwDlDisconnected "0"

I have tested with my ftp client and it connects on port 26

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance.
