in search path

I have already had several attempts at uploading the pak1.pk3
file, so had a few copies lying around from 3 different disks, one from my own
regular CoD disk 1, one from my GotY install, and 1 from a friend who
uploaded.

I also ran MD5 checks, it is a match on my home server
install and what I have installed on my client.

When I received the
"Impure Client" message, that is received from the client, as I attempt to
join the game.
Joining other game servers is fine, as well as hosting a
Listen server on the client. I'm sure the problem is with the
server.

I'll go and triple-check the MD5, and unzip it.

If I
type in sv_ReferencedPakFiles it ommits pak1.pk3, which I'm pretty sure should
be included. (Type this in the server tty console)

Thanks for the
advice Ian, I'll let you know how I get on.

Sure the pak isn't just corrupt or something? Would deffo try replacing
it. (maybe mv it to a temp folder and check if you can unzip it (unzip
pak1.pk3), if you can with no errors it sounds ok, if you can't its
likely corrupt). (wasn't entirely sure if you mean client or server has the
pak problem if only one client has the problem, so check file is in both and
can be unzipped if not sure).

running.

I can launch the server fine aswell as launch a map.

map then finally says "Impure client detected. Could not find referenced
pak at .....\main\pak1.pk3"

It's definetly there.

When I
look at the server console, I noticed in Current Search Path all the paks
are there BUT pak1.pk3

A different CoD server I have at home
