I havent got a sv_fps setting, shall I include it....is it set sv_fps "20"?<br>

My pingscan be as low as 30 but are usually around the 100 mark, but a
friend of mine always has a ping of about 40 (even when others pings
are higher). There are also time when everybodys pings go upto about
200 but the server doesnt seem to lag<br>

With regards to the previous comment, there is nothing running (that I know of) and it is on run level 3<br>

first impressions. Lagometer though showed it quite variable between

Double check you sv_fps is 20 and I'd up sv_maxrate to 25000 to
test.

command "free" will show whats being used for cache and whats in actual

2 servers that you ping fine to, swap the configs over (if they are on
the same box as you said). Also do a traceroute and see if you ping 150
