agree, I have to say! Sure theres problems with PB but on the whole the people
who find the most problems are the cheats. Or the person who was
downloading the national library while playing. Heres the thing, personally I
would like to play and serve this great game and have some kind of AC;
PB has proven to be the most reliable, why start again? ok ok give the small guy
a chance, but im serious here they need to go with one or the other, or people
will loose interest.</SPAN></FONT></DIV>

only reason why I write this is like many admins out there im continually
tempted to kick people at the mo... and I sometimes its 50/50... you know what I
mean ... a uncannily good player is not always a cheat. Im a member of the Anti
cheat guild, and I have spent years perfecting the art of spotting a cheater
and I struggle sometimes. I would like to play and server with
confidence and let my AC do the kicking.. so that when I get a good player in I
can say... NS rather than OMG U Cheating XXXXX, all whilst trying to take a
screeny only for it to be a waste of time.... not having anything at all is
making the admins jumpy and the all the regular players, the good players pissxd

<DIV>I don't really go along with that philosophy, anything that bypasses PB
gives Evenbalance the incentive to make sure it doesn't in their next update.
I've seen so many cheats that people say get past PB, only to be squealing
when the next day they are banned (from the cheat forums I watch to see whats
out there). That for me is always the test of something thats kept up to date.
</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>It's possible a different person/organisation could do better, but given
the amount of resources PB has now its hard to see it. I know I get replies as
a player (not server provider) from PB/Evenbalance which are pretty
prompt and accurate and have fixed my problem each time. There's only "so
much" smaller setups can deal with, and typically I find something has to give
one way or the other. Are they likely to deal with players on an individual
troubleshooting basis like Evenbalance do? Why are they more likely to
succeed? Chances are half of the cheats that are stopped by PB will suddenly
be easily adaptable and work on COD2. </DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>Naturally all speculation, I just don't really go along with the scenario
where one person can suddenly do better than a long term established setup,
just because they aren't as well known.<BR><BR> </DIV>
