In a way they do have a list of who can and who can't host. Since if a GSP
doesnt have windows boxes set up, they cant host.

The DICE 'approved' GSP system is a bit of a double edged blade really. On
one hand, you can be relatively certain that the server you rent will be of
a good quality. But at the same time, you don't have a lot of options so if
you are let down by a GSP, theres not a great deal of alternatives.

Its a real shame that developers have decided to take all the money they
can at the cost of the gaming community. 5 Years ago there were massive
communities with lots of clans and whatnot surrounding them. Now it seems
the only reason people use forums to talk about games is when they're
whining that X weapon is too overpowered.

Bleh, I just long for the good old days.
