Also completely off topic (and presumably futile): I want my custom mods and
maps back in BF3!

Stopped being impressed by shiny new graphics quite a while ago, they
*always* improve them.
In fact, I'm strongly considering picking up CoD4 again. If xfire's daily
stats are any kind of indication, CoD4 and CoD2 still beat all the other CoD
series games hands down, player wise. In other words, highly active PC
communities.

Rob Bowling kind of hinted to it on Twitter but the so called leaked memo
stated there will be no dedicated servers for MW3.  And even if there was a
chance in hell that IW would bring them back, they would never be public.

I've moved far away from the CoD franchise, which caters to their console
customers. Hell they can't even say if you're a new "PC Elite"
subscriber, you'll get the map packs at the same time.
