Battlefield 2 started the trusted provider mess and as we've seen it 
just gets worse and worse with every new blockbuster game. Many GSP's 
got into the EA trusted provider network and never bother to think what 
could happen. Now they are left out in the cold with the rest of us.

While the trusted providers gained a larger market share for EA games 
with no server files they screwed themselves out of others. Without the 
GSP's, developers are screwed since they would have to foot the bill for 
all the servers so unless they fight back by refusing to host the games 
I doubt things will get better.
