... and so is the future of COD as a franchise ... action-adventure genre???

"Procter & Gamble and Nestle" eeeh? Sounds like a bunch of non-gaming suites
will be in charge from now on.

West and Zampella were running IW for 8-9 years, building up the brand of
CoD.
Except for the MW2 debacle (which might have been an AT decision) they've
done alot of good for shooter gaming. Hope they find a new home and bring
back the spirit of PC gaming.
