There is a lot more to consider than that.

It the most important thing on the client side, but you as the provider have
to find a provider that can meet that requirement to several geographic
areas as well.

Bandwidth, Through Put, Peers are all critical items that need evaluated
also.

Ping is the most important thing in gameserver hosting, forget everything
else.

Hetzner is a solid provider, like said here before, their prices are low,
their servers are realy good.

PING ? that is very dependent from which location you connect (uplinks,
peering agreements, etc) don't get blinded by that.

Do note the setup costs of Hetzner is high compare to Link11, it comes down
for how many month you want to rent the server, which will work better for
you.

Don't use Hetzner, their datacenters are not ping friendly. If you want to
have good servers, get some from the Link11 datacenter located in Frankfurt.
A provider for such servers: www.active-servers.com

Hey,

as someone mentioned before i would prefer "Hetzner Online AG". They have
really good Server`s and fair prices. I`m running a root Server there for 4
years now without any serious problem. Most problems are user related.
