[cod] Problem with my cod4 linux server

Hi,
 
Custom maps should be in the usermaps folder.
Each custom map would have a subfolder of it's own, e.g. for a map named
mp_test:
cod4_installation/usermaps/mp_test
 
The mp_test folder would contain these files:
mp_test.ff
mp_test.iwd
mp_test_load.ff
 
I'd suggest putting the +map or +map_rotate parameter last in the startup
line.
And I have the "+set dedicated 2" parameter as well in startup.
 
So if you want to run the modwarfare mod loading mp_test:
/cod4_lnxded +set dedicated 2 +set sv_pure 1 +set net_ip 62.90.136.166 +set
fs_game mods/modwarfare  +exec server.cfg +map mp_test
 
Not sure why you have the +set ui_maxclients "14" params.
If you want to limit available slots, use: +set sv_maxclients "14"

Don't worry about the missing soundaliases.
You should take care of the USAGE: set lines...

First of all, your command line is not good :

./cod4_lnxded +set fs_game mods/modwarfare +set sv_pure 1 +set +map_rotate
+set ui_maxclients "14" +set net_ip "62.90.136.166" +exec server.cfg

The highlighted "set" has nothing to do there.

i found out that the mod files should be located in
~/.callofduty4/mods/modwarfare/

and i moved thom to there, now the problem is that the server crash after
trying to run it with modwarfare
