[cod] server not looping through server.cfg

As you're running your server on a linux OS (CASE SENSITIVE), you must add a space at the end of the map rotation line unless it will not loop. I had the same problem running a cod4 server on a debian.

Like this ===> set sv_mapRotation "gametype tdm map mp_dome gametype tdm map mp_hangar gametype dm map mp_asylum "

You can also try to build the rotation only in tdm mode first, and once it's fully fonctionnal, change the first map's mode to the one you want, then the second map's mode, etc etc ... There are many map modes issues due to bad mapping (even if the mapper says it works on all modes)

I hope it will help you

cya Guys

PS: Sorry for my poor frenchy english ;)

there really is no reason to clear sv_maprotationcurrent because the value of this is not carried throughout restarts. also, if he does add that line, then everytime he re-execs his config for whatever reason, its going to restart the rotation from the beginning.

Yes as Ronny said the maps must all be on one line. Example

set sv_mapRotation "gametype tdm map mp_dome gametype tdm map mp_hangar gametype dm map mp_asylum"

Also move this part and place it before the sv_mapRotation line

set sv_maprotationcurrent ""

Heres what im typing in green.

How do I get the server to loop through my config file? I tried map_rotate but that just starts dome and thats it. perhaps my config is incorrect? Would you need to see my server.cfg file?

Also, how do i declare logging of server events? ie debugging to help me fix problems like these on my own.

sorry fellas, its my first time running a MP server. if you can link me to some documentation, or help me out, that'd be great.
