well i dont use ftp, the same image was copied to another server with the 
same os and it works so far

i dont use this one for gameservers anymore, just curious why this happens

we tried everything of this mailinglist and much more but nothing helps so 
R.I.P. old server, new one comming next weeks and all will be fine ;-)

Which tool do you use to transfer the server files (bins, data) to your
server ? In case of FTP, you may break the file if you don't use binary
mode. It can seem a bit noobish, but it's easy to forget about that with
FTP...

ia32-libs can also be a good way to go.
