I couldn't agree more and you make a VERY valid point. There is a petition
started up, maybe it will make it to over 100,000 signed, that would really
make them rethink their decision. You can find it here and tell everybody
you know to sign it.

The IW forms have gone mad about this, and rightly so.

I hope they realise what a huge mistake no dedicated server is and fix it
BEFORE release.

Delay the game if they have to, but release without a dedicated server and
as rightly mentioned on that cast, they should rename it to Airborne 2 as
its going to fail just as badly.

Do they really not realise that you need a dedicated server to ensure good
performance, I mean seriously?

Yer play around with noddy console like match making systems which never
work as well as the standard server browser, if you have to, but FTLOG do so
with a dedicated server backing it up; so at least people don't suffer
because of crappy hosts and lack of bandwidth. Its not like a PC release can
even guarantee the CPU performance of a host, like consoles can due to their
standardisation.

    Regards

    Steve
