[cod] Getting out of memory for certain maps

Hi,
Some maps won't load due out of memory problems, even though the system
has enough. E.g. I've 1GB RAM and there's plenty of it left, still I get
the following with certain maps:
Loading fastfile mp_i2
Error: Need 3220896 more bytes of ram for alloc to succeed
OUT OF MEMORY! ABORTING!!! (universal/physicalmemory.cpp:625)
I get this with couple other maps too, e.g. mp_apesgorod .
I checked with ulimit -a and there are no special limits afaik:
$ ulimit -a

Is there something obvious I'm missing? Some settings/switch which tells
the cod4 server to provide more memory for maps?
