Subject: [cod] cod_lnxded running in screen and high CPU load
Hello,
I have a strange problem only on one root server. I am running more game servers on one machine and all games binary I start in screen.
In top i have a strange and big problem:
PID USER PR NI VIRT RES SHR S %CPU %MEM TIME+ COMMAND
12555 nobody 19 -1 194m 73m 2348 R 27 0.6 75:25.00 cod2_lnxded
12525 nobody 19 -1 196m 60m 3016 R 23 0.5 20:37.97 cod2_lnxded
12524 root 19 -1 4232 972 640 S 20 0.0 1:33.77 screen
12583 nobody 19 -1 196m 57m 3008 S 12 0.5 16:04.81 cod2_lnxded
12569 nobody 19 -1 196m 55m 3016 S 7 0.5 12:45.72 cod2_lnxded
As you can see it use 20 of CPU witch is very very much, because these game server is free. Nobody is playing on it and has such load.
debian:~# ps aux | grep zan
root 12524 0.1 0.0 4232 972 ? S<s 01:46 1:57 SCREEN -d -m -S COD2Server_port28982 /home/zan/cod2/cod2_lnxded +set net_ip 85.190.14.194 +set net_port 28982 +set dedicated 2 +exec zan.cfg +set sv_punkbuster 1 +set fs_homepath /home/zan/cod2 +set sv_savepath /home/zan/cod2
nobody 12525 1.8 0.5 200760 62252 pts/11 R<s+ 01:46 21:07 /home/zan/cod2/cod2_lnxded +set net_ip 85.190.14.194 +set net_port 28982 +set dedicated 2 +exec zan.cfg +set sv_punkbuster 1 +set fs_homepath /home/zan/cod2 +set sv_savepath /home/zan/cod2
And also is strange because no other game server process are in top showed as a SREEN proces, but it is cod2_lnxded or cod4_lnxded.
I looked in costumer server directories and is all ok, nothing is strange.
I am running debian 5.0
