Yeah. I changed over from the Wine install to native bins about the time
day light saving took place. I'm hoping that's all it is.

This certainly seems like an environmental issue, rather than the
binaries themselves.

I just found a post over at fpsadmin that suggests the date, time or
timezone are set wrong on the server box. I checked and I was an hour
behind so I set it to the correct time.
I'll see if this has any affect.

I would like to know this as well, happens on my Linux dedi's also
...and yes DNS is set up correctly.
Also, perhaps I missed it....anyone knows something about the hotfix for
1.3 for the custom maps?
Last I heard that Ryan should make a fix for that soon (been a while
now)...or is this put on hold till the 1.4 patch?
The workaround works just fine...but its far from ideal.

Yeah DNS is setup. I've been using this box for a year hosting COD4 and
a few other games. I can ping yahoo and several other site with no
issues.
This is what the server init looks like
------ Server Initialization ------
Server: mp_airfield
resetting state..
Hostname: server1
Alias: localhost.localdomain
Alias: localhost
PC IP: 127.0.0.1
DNS
.DW_AUTHORIZING
DW_AUTHORIZED (253 msecs)
DW_LOBBY_CONNECTING
DW_LOGON_COMPLETE
dvar set dw_loggedin 1
should be logged in ok
dvar set ui_maxclients 48
dvar set sv_maxclients 48
dvar set sv_running 1
(Not the whole thing)
Whats the .DW_AUTHORIZING right after the DNS line?
Again this is what it looks like when it crashes hours after it started.
Also I originally ran this on Wine and had no problems with it. This is
just since changing to the Linux bins.

Hey everyone.
I'm getting the following error on my COD5 server after the server has
been up for several hours. Looks like the server just shutdown but the
executable is still running.
If I restart the server it comes up fine but will crash again within a
few hours.
