Activision is the one who made TreyArch release the game far before it should, so it would make the Xmas sales.

There are tons of stuff in the game that aren't finished, but where planned and announced by TA.

No incentive. as of right now, game-monitor reports less than 3K online players for WW. COD4 has over 20K.

they blew it out of the gate and never recovered. sad really.

i don't blame activision. WW was the complete opposite of cod4, and they are both act games so. do the math. I place this one squarely with trey ...

  just saying.

Well with the support they show now, I won't care if they drop pc gaming,

From there the support got worse then ever.
They've reached to point for me, that they have a last chance now.

Before WW was released there where all big words, Linux bins from beginning,
  mod tools etc etc.
What did we get, no bins - almost 3 months waiting, 3 weeks was normal to
max waiting time per patch, mostly it was 1 to 2 weeks.

Besides that they shipped an alpha game, with a day 1 patch that made it
beta, and with the word on patch 1.2 of what JD said, still no cups and
  leagues, no /record.

31th januari our 3 servers will go down surely.

Patch 1.2 rather be good, otherwise WW was my last Activision game (doesn't
matter to what studio Activision is the big name behind it).
Think lots of day 1 CoD fans will think the same on this, cause dropping pc
support almost isn't the issue now, in my eyes they did that already.

An interesting approach and I won't get involved in the politics of
this. Isn't there a fear the developer/publisher may just pull the plug
on supporting the PC in the future?

  Just wondering ...
