Possibly. What kind of IO will you be using?

I would just add one server every few days and monitor sar, mpstat, etc.

If you start getting below 20% CPU idle, hit too much swap memory, or 
have a high # via iostat, it's probably worth it to stop adding servers 
and removing one or two.

If you use Linux be sure to install the sysstat package -- available via 
most popular distros.

Also, you'll want to use some kind of scripting system to restart 
servers every 24 hours and archive log files.
