[cod] Ventrilo 3 Linux server

Agreed, It took me some good time to configure my control-app to communicate with their API trough ICE, but now it’s working like a charm (PHP).

They need to simplify the GUI alot on the client though, and try to look more like the other applications for us to be able to convert players. I just LOVE ventrilos ini-files and high usability for both me and my clients.

Unfortunately Mumbles choice of API leaves much to be desired.

Why on earth anyone would choose a desktop API that only supports local connections for a server app is beyond me. Had high hopes when they looked to switch API but they choose ICE which doesn't even have perl bindings. All way to heavy, simple light weight protocol was all that was needed instead they went way overboard :(

    Regards

    Steve
