Patch for server 1.7

Hi guys,
i was long time out .. i need help, i successfuly install Linux ded. server
from 1.0 to 1.4 (in last half year),
now i need update to 1.7 .. of.c. as i do before 

1. download http://0day.icculus.org/cod/cod4-linux-server-06282008.tar.bz2
2. extract to /home/cod4 directory (overwrite existing files)
3. overwrite cod4_lnxded from version 1.4 as is write here

4. run punkbuster update
5. run startup script cod4.sh

But i see version of server is 1.6 .... where is my problem?
