[cod] Welcome Player <playername> console message

A rcon tool I use does this - called Rcon Max.  It does this along with language filter and "jr admin" capability.

Maybe this is not the proper place to ask this, but I know there are a lot CoD4 knowledgable ppl here.


It is possible to welcome players with their name when they join the server without using a mod ?
I have seen several ranked/pure servers  which welcome players, but how ?


Can anyone hint me on this ?
