All ppl from mailist have to know that "ZIOMM" is a society wich rent linux servers...

I agree with Jerome on a lot of points, but i don't think this mailist is a place to whine about "plenty of money" when you wait linux files to earn it.

I'm sure Activision is afraid now...
Woooh, they are scared, i think they all stop thankgiving for make a "battle plan".

If you make you little war alone, please, don't forget to unsubscribe this mailing list.

If you really want to have a real impact, start a real lobby.
"Stop playing a already buyed game" is a laffing protestation...
A least, you plan to kill by lafs the Activision CEO...

Guys - pull your clans off of it. Don't register teams on the ladders and league sites.

We need to vote with our money here. As a group, we could probably kill 80%(?) of the game's momentum this week (if it has momentum ... which I kinda doubt).

Cancel windows server accounts.

Everyone go back to COD4 en-masse. (it's a better game anyway)

Nobody download the linux bins. So what if the bins come out in a week or two ... TOO LATE.

If we're successful, then we will ensure that the majority of server admins and clans will have the required consideration in the next CoD release. If nobody does anything, then we are pretty much assured of a similar release cycle for the next game as well. Think about it ...

I don't even play Call of Duty, but I'm interested in Game servers.

Thumbs up for your good people knowledge.

Stop complaining.

The linux bins are currently with Activions QA team, and will be released to public once the testing is done.
You can be happy that you get a Linux dedicated at all.
We are talking about a game here, and not a server software. The game has server functions built into the game.
If I were Activision, I wouldn't even see a need to get Linux bins done.

And all this bullshit about not buying the next Call of Duty.
We all know this is not the case, and you will be the first to get the next game once it is released.

They don't give a rats ass about PC multiplayer
they build these games to cater to the console market and slap on a half baked PC multiplayer as a afterthought. Linux bins are so far down their list we are lucky to see them at all.

Until publishers stop catering to 14 year olds who buy a game so they can run through the SP in two weeks then take it and trade it in for the next game coming down the pipeline
the PC MP market will continue to be one dismal MP game after another. It's easy money and because their audience expects so little form a game they don't have to spend all the time required to develop a good MP experience. The last game in the CoD series that was built specifically for the PC was United Offensive.

I agree completely.

The fact that we live in a world that's so advanced make this all the more pathetic.

Activision have PLENTY of time and plenty of MONEY to get this done, but instead the CEO's talk about what model BMW they will buy next...

Actvision and Treyarch can blow me

I feel the same, so disgusting that these bins have yet to come out. I lost my desire to even make this server. And no I will not purchase the next call of duty.
