[cod] (cod5) WaW Master Server Down...again?

I've not see a game from EA or Activision correctly place shortcuts on the
desktop under Vista.

 

Only issue I had was crash to desktop after install and that was because I
decided to actually use the full abilities of my HD Audio card and run
192000 Hz audio. COD:WaW doesn't like anything higher then 48000 Hz.

 

Your installer crash at the end sounds like the installer crash that would
happen if the Windows Firewall was disabled

I think you are not alone about the missing shortcuts :)

I'm told they are monitoring the masterserver 24/7 and are notified when it
goes down.  They will respond ASAP....... or so I'm told.

Same Problem.
My server now is down =(
Try to start server on other IP, same error

resolution!
