What makes me think that?
Well lets see, I've attended both the COD4 and COD 5 community events,
as well as MoH:PA and MOH:Airborne events, worked with EA, Activision,
IW and Treyarch over the past god knows how many years.
Yes I can honestly say Treyarch is the closest to the PC community
you're going to get. What has the release of a beta (I would not call
it that) have anything to do with it?
So far the only thing we don't have is the Linux bits on day one. As
I've said in the past, there was a rather large patch released on day
one which in my eyes would put any bits Ryan or anyone else working on
behind.
The only proof you have is this comment by Josh the Treyarch community
manager:

Which quotes" Linux servers will be available for the retail game".
I've been told personaly at the last Treyarch community event in LA that
they where shooting for a "very close to release" date. However again
this was before the day 1 patch was released.
