Hi Anton,

Thanks for your clearification. As you say, his CD-key is probably 
stolen and hopefully it will be no problem to get a new copy. As a side 
note to your reply; Are you saying that someone using a pirated copy and 
a key-gen can render legit users CD-keys unusable? If that's the case 
it's a huge flaw in the licensing system. Are you sure?
