Below is the startup for one of my servers. I'm doing NAT so my IP is
different. Are you behind a NAT firewall if so try setting your IP to
that of the actual box and not the public IP.

./cod4_lnxded +exec serversetting.cfg +set dedicated 2 +set fs_basepath
/home/cod4-5 +set fs_homepath /home/cod4-5 +set fs_savepath /home/cod4-5
+set net_ip 192.168.1.50 +set net_port 3160 +set ui_maxclients "54"
+map_rotate

Do you have the set dedicated flag turned on like I do above? This
determines if its seen on the master browser.

Subject: [cod] COD4 Linux noob

Hello. I was running a COD4 Win2003 server for a long time and figured
I'd make a switch to the linux platform. Anyways, I have uploaded all of

the files to the server and am able to run the server, however I can not

connect to it. I'm using the exact same config file as before and am
running from ssh

./cod4_lnxded +set punkbuster 1 +set sv_pure 1 +exec server2.cfg +set
+map_rotate +set ui_maxclients "42" +set net_ip "209.242.12.190" +set
net_port 38960

The console boots up and I change map to map mp_bog or something and
still nothing. I though that maybe SELinux or firewall rules where
blocking me, but I set both to disabled and still can not connect.

I would copy the console log, but it never seems to write to
console_mp.log anymore.

Any ideas?
