I see no reason why you could not run COD4 on it, just might not perform as
well as it would on Windows 2003 Standard because the web version is
optimized for ISS or MSSQL.

Subject: [cod] Off the wall Question

I know that many of you run game servers on windows, which version of
windows do you use?

Can I use Windows Server 2003 Web Edition? I have been through the MS
Licensing and do not see that it is forbidden anywhere. It is almost
300.00 cheaper then Standard version of server.

Trying to save some cash on licensing.
Thanks
Dallas
