[cod] Linux vs Windows

They develop for windows because that is where most of the users are and
therefore the money. Plan and simple!

tbh the linux version of cod2 for one was divine, great uptime and no

Seeing as I have only years of experince and a general assumption this will
lead me to belive that.

1. - Developers prefer to use windows hooks and helpers to code
2. - Developers have insufficient knowledge of the linux kernel
3. - Developers have insufficient knowledge of the various command line
helpers that C compilers in Linux have and their compilations are generic
ans might work better on the same libs/os version/distribution as it was
compiled on.

But this isn't generic, there have been some great linux versions of
gameservers in the past
