[cod] running custom maps .....modwarefare ?

Thnx Andrea,

What does the modwarfare mod do ?
.....or is it actualy an "empty" mod , that allows you to run custom 
maps etc...e.g the things you can only do with modded servers.
Or does it add stuff to the game ?
