[cod] Fastfile for zone '<anymap>' appears corrupt or unreadable (code 107)

For Debian Etch I have only used 32bit version, not the 64bit you are using.
But I doubt the problem lies there. Those files should stay unmodified.

Do you use 32bit or 64bit Debian?
