Is it possible for you to show an example of the edited bytes

	You have to overwrite the marked bytes with hex 90, wich is
simply NOPing out a far jump I suppose.

		-->

		No go. I must not be doing this right. The hex patch
isn't working after I applied it.

		This is what Im doing.

		Im editing cod4_lnxded-bin with Cygnus hex editor.

		These are the values from the patch on buzilla

		binary patch may help testing setStat on 1.5 during devs
workaround .

		Offsets: hexadec.

		 7D4D7: 0F      =>90
		 7D4D8: 85      =>90
		 7D4D9: D1      =>90
		 7D4DA: 00      =>90
		 7D4DB: 00      =>90
		 7D4DC: 00      =>90

		I open the file and go to address the first address and
make the changes and save the file.

		Am I not doing this correctly?

		Am I supposed to do something with the =>90 at the ends
of those lines?

keep it for knowledge, thanks.

		I think I figured out the edit. If it works I'll host
the file for download. Be a few minutes while we test it.

		Since most mods are restricted from Linux servers at the
moment, ((as far as I know AWE, ACE, eXtreme because of the Ranks)) this
will be a valueable asset to the GSP's, Modders, and Community

		Can't wait to try this or download it -- whichever comes
first, and test it.

			Hi Donald,

			No word yet, as far as I know at least.
			But I tried the binary patch from

https://bugzilla.icculus.org/show_bug.cgi?id=3535 (last post), and it's
			running great now.
			Ranking AND custom-maps, thats how it was meant
to be ;-)
