Doing: ps -ef |grep SCREEN| grep "CALL OF DUTY" |grep -v grep |awk '{print $2}' > yourpidfile.pid

Would create a pidfile with the PID written down in it for you to use.

Just be sure to change the CALL OF DUTY grep to whatever you name the screen session. ; )

If you kill -15, or kill -9 the screen pid, your going to kill the server as long as you open the server in a screen, and have screen installed of course. ; )
