[cod] Why its takes so long [cod4 binaries]

Well, I ran into serious problems getting CoD4 running under SuSE 10.3 
and wine (patched and unpatched)
But I don't know. It won't last months until the binaries will be 
released and I think the server will run more stable and with better 
performance (and more easily ;-) ) when started from console with ryan's 
script - without running windows in virtual environments - so I'll wait 
until the binaries will finally be released.

Anyway the vmware solution described some hours ago in this mailing list 
could possibly work better than wine, I think.
If I find some time the next days I'll give it a try too and report my 
success - or missuccess with this way.
