Today after a restart of our server, we had also probs getting back in the
lists in cod2 or getting back on the server, took more then 1 hour to see it
online, but also PB doesn't give us any guids any more.

The ingame brouwser tries to connect to the masterservers, but no servers
show up at all.

Met vriendelijke groet,

i'm not able to do that at the moment, but i can verify that people are
connecting to my server right now - can you post up your startup line?

Have just tried that, still not showing on the stats list

Can someone just confirm they can get a new server appearing on the list ok
and connect to it (save me going bananas :))

Just add to your startupline: +set sv_gamespy 1 +set net_gamespy_port 28930

Restart your server and check your internal GameBrowser again (COD1
/COD2/COD UO)

the master list is horrible in this game. only way to really see if you are
listed is by going to http://stats.callofduty.com/

Hiya,

Just wondering if anyone is experiencing any oddities with cod2 and
connecting to new/restarted servers.

Firstly I can't get any new servers on the master server list (old ones are
fine already running or if restarted).

More importantly, any server I restart (that is currently fine, i.e just
want a new map or mod etc), I then find I can't connect to (just
waiting/counting up forever), this is both on a totally new fresh default
server if I try (did that to isolate), also any that was up and connectable,
but simply restarted.

Naturally I don't want anyone to get the same problem, but could someone try
upping a new server possibly and see if they have any problems connecting to
it, or already experiencing any problems?

Thanks in advance,

Ian
