[cod] COD2 on Debain 20 minute delay

Exactly.. It was noted before by some guys on this list, and also I thought
ryan said something about it. Don't know what but the only thing I know from
this whole issue is that if cod2.activision.com can't be reached the first
20 minutes no players are allowed(for internet play).

What I think is strange is that the set_dedicated isn't working because 1
(LAN) should not give this behavior.

Well this would be my problem then! The system's on a LAN with no internet
access.

What's the solution if you're hosting a LAN party then? Just don't shut
down the server I guess?
