[cod] Cod version 3

It was only announced by Valve.  My PR contact at Activision states that
Activision has not officially announce anything in regards to the
distribution of any games via steam.  Take that for what ever it's worth.

Now with that said, I can only hope that they are "testing" this model for
future Activision games.  I really like how steam patches games so there is
only one version out.

Well, they seem to have fixed the "numerous patches problem.  Valve will now
be their distributor.  That was announced by Valve and Activision yesterday.
