[cod] How to ban a user via IP ?

I dont believe cod2 has this functionality, only:
banClient <id>
or
banUser <player name>

You may be able to manipulate the list directly via the
dvar:
g_banIPs

A useful reference is:

Note to get a full list in cod2 its dvarlist where as in cod its
cvarlist. For commands its cmdlist.
