[cod] CoD2 Linux / Win32 server breakdown ( linux has 75% )

Games without linux server doesn't have a lot of online servers so mean not
a lot of players so mean not a lot of people buying it...

A mass multiplayer game MUST have a linux dedicated server or it will die
just because hoster have 75% or more linux box... So ok they are not forced
to make any linux server but without online servers they will not sell theyr
games... it's simple and mathematic

The big problem is that they release a patch without any advert about
telling explicitly that player will no more able to play on 75% of the world
server and 75% of luck theyr server for wich they have pay will not work...
And of course no word about how to go back to the previous version... (by
the way need just to put back the MP.exe and the 2 d3d.dll)

Steam is in that way really good because client and server will always be at
the same version even if it is sometmes some problemes...

EA did that with BF1942/BFVietnam with a patch that blocked 75% of the
server too... and there it was not a prior patch so sader...

So it's true that we have no way to recalim a linux server/patch but they
must remember/learn that without 75% of the server they would sell 75% less
games!

Just hope they will release the linux patch really soon or the game will be
dead!
