Nope 1.2 has been "unofficially" released, not only intel but now also the
amd dual core, 2 new maps and last but not least PUNKBUSTER

Its just a patch for intel cpu's, not "the patch" :(
i'm affraid that we would have to wait for the patch with new maps and 
punkbuster.
IW could go to their forum and say something about this delay, its really 
bad for all cod2 comunity
